Neuschwanstein Castle - one of the most beautiful castles in the world, the creation of the romantic and unsociable Bavarian King Ludwig II. It was built in the second half of the XIX century, far from big cities and roads, 130 km from Munich, on the outskirts of the picturesque Bavaria, on the border with Austria. Construction was carried out for 17 years - almost the entire reign of Ludwig.

About his own magic-castle Ludwig II began to dream in childhood. From an early age, he loved to take part in theater plays and dress up. Royal family spent the summer in Hohenschwangau, Schwangau family estate, which the father of Ludwig Maximilian II bought in 1833.

Inspired by the construction of the castle, the king forgot all about public affairs and in the end Bayern patience snapped. In 1886, they declared Ludwig incompetent and sent him to the Castle Berg. The next day the king died in mysterious circumstances at the lake with a psychiatrist who diagnosed him. Therefore, sometimes Neuschwanstein called "castle of Mad or Fairytale King."

The walls of the castle are painted and decorated with paintings, based on medieval legends,especially those that have become the basis of operas of king's friend - composer Richard Wagner:"Tristan and Isolde," "Lohengrin," "Parsifal" and others. The Throne Hall and the Hall of singers are impossible to describe - it's a must see. Interesting fact - Neuschwanstein literally means “New Swan Castle” referencing of “the Swan Knight” one of the Wagner’s characters.

After the death of the King of all the construction and decoration works in Neuschwanstein was stopped, the castle was declared a national treasure and has since been carefully preserved, being particularly proud of Bavarians who once killed the dreamer, who built it.

Often, due to high-altitude location, the castle surrounds Alpine fog ... At such moments, it seems the castle floats in the void.Visit possible only in the group.          Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Ha Long Bay is in Northern Vietnam near the city of Hanoi. "Ha Long" means "Bay of Descending Dragons" and is made up of 1969 islands and several containing very large caverns to explore. This bay is beautiful and I highly recommend a cruise tour to visit the islands, caves, and floating villages where over 1,600 people and animals live.
